The Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, which initially opened the park in 2005, led the renovation to address previous challenges like homelessness and litter. Designed by Jeremy Bushnell, a former pro BMX rider, the new tracks aim to modernize the Tqalu Skills Zone area. The 3,000-square-foot adaptive track and the larger 9,000-square-foot main track are expected to draw more young riders. Community support, including donations and volunteer efforts, played a crucial role in bringing this project to fruition. The park is located at 1701 Lakeview Blvd. E, providing a new recreational space for the neighborhood.
